From Sweet To Bitter

The American diet consists mostly of sweet and sour tastes. This week add some bitter raw food to your diet. These foods are drying and cooling. They can aid in digestion and help to absorb mucus. Arugula is ready to harvest this week. Add a handful of arugula to your dinners each day. Simply wash the arugula and squeeze some lemon juice onto it. Arugula is an excellent source of dietary fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Manganese.
