Honey-Drizzled Blueberries

Blueberries are the ideal seasonal ingredient for fresh summer desserts. High in vitamins and antioxidants, they are the also the ultimate brain fruit. Mix berries with honey to soothe your sweet tooth while strengthening your immune system. Add a daily dose of 2 cups of this dessert to your diet to protect and nourish your brain and body and to minimize age-related health risks.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups blueberries
  • 4 pinches of crushed cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons organic raw honey
  • 4 tablespoons warm water
Preparation:
In a large bowl, whisk together warm water, lemon juice, honey and cardamom. Pour mixture over blueberries and toss lightly.

Serves 2.
